A pebble is a type of rock that has been smoothed by the presence and movement of seawater, with its size ranging from 2 to 64 millimeters.
The texture and color of pebbles vary. They may feature veins of quartz or sedimentary rock in colors different from the rest of the pebble.
They are usually smooth, but depending on how often they come into contact with the sea, they may show marks from contact with other pebbles or rocks.
