Material
Sengon wood, often called albasia wood is a light to medium light wood, dense, straight and slightly rough, but easy to work. The heartwood is glossy yellow to ivory-brown. Its durability and strength are classified in strong category. This wood is not easily attacked by subterranean termites, due to the presence of extractive substances in the wood. It is a type of wood that is used to make boxes, house frames, bridges and is also widely used in the furniture industry. During its utilization, this wood should be used for interior needs.
