Teak wood is a type of tropical hardwood derived from tree trunks with a dense and solid structure, making it relatively heavy. Thanks to its exceptional properties and the beautiful patterns of its grain, it is widely used across a broad range of products.
In addition to its high durability, teak offers excellent resistance to fire, as well as moderate resistance to bending, impact, and splitting. It is also highly resistant to saltwater, making it one of the most popular tropical woods for furniture manufacturing.
Any cracks that may develop over time are the result of the natural expansion and contraction of solid wood and are not considered manufacturing defects. On the contrary, they add uniqueness and character to each piece. During production, existing cracks are stabilized and refined using material derived from the same wood.
As a result, slight variations in color and dimensions may occur due to the natural properties of the wood. These variations are not defects, but rather a testament to the authenticity of the material.
